Splash Guards - Mud Flaps

I've always ran the molded ones, because I like how they follow the body lines. I made the mistake of waiting too long to get mine put on this time around, so now I've got a few rock chips along with the drill holes, haha. As far as snow build up goes....a little tap with my boot usually does the trick.

Had the black Molded mud flaps installed today (Dealer installed for free) and def. very happy with the look/results.

Just bought the Molded (Black) for mine but having a really hard time deciding if I REALLY want to drill holes to mount them on my brand new truck.

Two small holes in each of the front fender lips for me - they will never show if I take the molded flaps off ...

I have been debating on the Weather Tech or GM. Do the Sierra rear flaps wrap around the body like they do on the Silverado?

Wicked - Do you have pics of yours installed?

The molded ones just allowed too much mud and gravel to get slung up on the back end of my pickup. I have to run rural gravel roads frequently and the molded style flaps were basically a joke. So when I got my 2015 2500, I got a couple of Freighliiner mud flaps, 16x19 in size. Got a couple of 12" SS flap weights for the flap ends, trimmed the sides down to 12" width which didn't affect the Freightliner logo on them, and installed them on the pickup. Best solution I had ever found. And it gets some interesting looks from folks seeing that bold red and while Freightliner logo on those black mud flaps. More functional, doesn't look bad, and cost was low. They stop all the mud and rocks from beating up the back end, buildup on the bumper, etc. May not be as "stylish" as some would consider, but hey... it's a rural country truck.

I added 5 inches of HD rubber to the bottom of my front weathertech flaps and added a solid metal bar along the bottom to prevent blowback. I attached the rubber to the weathertech using the 2inch wide 3m body side molding tape. Tested in the sloppiest goop winter dished out......works well and doesn't look bad. The weathertech alone is worthless in terms of protection.
