parts websites?

i've always used gmpartsdirect (and paid heavly for shipping) or used a discount parts dealer for buying parts in the past.

 

if i google part numbers nowadays i get a ton of sites that all look the same (same layout and web design, same pics, etc).... gmoutletparts, gmpartsnow, newgmparts, etc... are these places all the same or what?

 

what's a good one to use?

I tried searching and searching for the cheapest place, and recently ended up ordering my painted fender flares and mud guards from gmpartsoutlet.net. Everything arrived ok.

 

Later, I noticed another dealer site someone posted on here, it was cheapestgmparts.com and had I known, I could have saved another $25 or so if I ordered from them.

I've had great luck with gmwholesaledirect.com. Great prices, very reasonable shipping, and super customer service.

 

I like the fact their contact is via phone……..and………have knowledgeable folks that answer the phone and any questions that arise.

I reviewed gmwholesaledirect.com and they seem high especially when you add the shipping cost. It appears the GM accessories is out of date. I don't think some of the accessories they recommend work on a 2014 Silverado. I did crunch some number to compare.

 

I.E. - 2014 Silverado 1500 Bed Step, 6' 6" and 8' Beds # 22799283 (Same l/k/q)

 

ShopChevyParts.com = $227.50 + $13.44 shipping = $240.94 ** $34.37 difference - Lots of money **

 

gmwholesaledirect.com $257.08 + $18.23 Shipping = $275.31

 

Maybe there are other cheaper websites (ebay etc.) out there.

Anyone kniw what the deal is with the LTZ headlights being discontinued? Every site I go to says the part number is discontinued.

Depending on what I am looking for, I usually find the part and then google search for best price. For replacement parts, I have found deals at Rock Auto and Parts Geeks. I've bought accessory products from ShopChevy and others named as well as GM dealers posting on EBay that are near my location. Found great pieces in Dallas, NOLA and Arizona. I haven't found the best price on everything at one web site...just depends.

Just ordered a grille from them. About $75 cheaper than other parts sites and about $40 cheaper than fleabay.
