onstar disable

So I was following the other thread ,and low and behold yesterday , I got there solicitation . When the message finished , i hit the onstage button , got an advisor , told them what happened , asked them to remove me from the solicitation list . Boom , done simple as that!

If your disabling it for purposes of installing a tuner, the fuse is in cab on passenger side marked Info, believe it's #23. It's a red 10amp fuse. Pulling fuse also kills stabilitrak and airbags along with onstar

if you unplug onstar antenna do you loose nav?

I disconnected the Antenna on my 2013 Traverse and immediately it displayed a service Onstar message on the dash. That wouldn't go away.

 

Not sure what the Sierra will do.

Yes if you unplug Onstar from module behind radio screen the Navigation unit becomes disabled.

The OnStar indicator on mirror also lights up red instead of green.
