Hey Everyone I put 2.5 Rough Country leveling kit on. Now I'm gonna get some tires. I pull sled trailer few hours away from home up in Northern Michigan snowmobiling in the winter so I wanted something that would be good on the roads when there snow and ice covered. Any thoughts would be appreciated. I posted a couple before and after pics too

I went with 275/70/18's, gonna put a 2" leveling kit on to do away with min rubbing issues I've got doing on. Granted no ice/snow in my part of Texas next to coast lol. But I went with Cooper ATP's. Some local Game Wardens use the mud grip counterparts and get over 30,000 miles out of them, and they run ATP's on their personal trucks and get over 55,000 miles out of them, granted tires have a 55,000 warranty.

Haven't been in sand or mud yet but I am VERY happy with them soo far. Even as quiet as the interior's are of our new Chevy's I was expecting some noise and haven't heard a peep out of them with windows up, AC on low and radio off.

I'm running 34" toyo open country at2 with the RC 2.5 lift. Very happy with these tires. I too head snowmobiling in the winter here in northern Maine. Great snow and ice performance. Get lots of compliments on the looks as well!

I'm seriously considering Toyos to go with my 2.5" RC level. Which size specifically did you go with? Stock wheels?

I went with LT275/65/20. Very slight rubbing on the wheel well lining but only at full lock.

I live in Alberta ( lots of snow and mud) I always buy all terrain tires and liked BF Goodrich AT's as well as Goodyear Duratracs. i really like the Duratracs as they work good in mud and are winter rated. Lots of oilfield work trucks up here run them. Both are a softer compound so they wear a little quicker but give good traction.

I had Nitto Terra grapplers once. They wore out quick on my 3/4 ton and sucked in the mud. I wouldn't buy them again. Hope this helps.
