Well the Factory in channel vent visors first just fell out fitst time I rolled the windows down fixed that with 3M tape.

Then they would rattle all when it was windy as they touched the glass.

Before the new Stampede Vent Visors.

Are the new ones taped on the outside then like the old school ones

Looks like they do.

As for the in channel type, I don't care who installs them. The rubber has to absolutely clean, or there will be issues.

I have Weathertech in-channel visors. They don't rattle, not even when going 75 mph on the interstate with all of the windows completely down. I'll never get the tape on kind that sticks to the outside of the door. Had that type on my 98 and one of them the adhesive came undone and it would constantly slap against the door so I just removed them.

These are stick on from stampede.

The GM in channels are what my truck already had on it when I bought it.

My truck was new but the dealer did take a deposit on it added accessories then the buyer backed out.

So in a nut shell I recived the in channels vent visors, color matched fender flares and chrome exhaust tip for free.

Well the guy who paid the deposit paid for them the dealer decided to leave the accesories on it.
