Well, that escalated quickly, like it always seems to when someone who has issues (or had issues) with their truck reads a comment that his issues are not as widespread as he thinks they are. Listen, there are well over 1,200,000 K2's on the road, The number of trucks with issues is actually a small amount compared to the number sold. More common than they should be?

Sure, there shouldn't be that many issues.

But, of course you know that you can't draw any conclusions from an internet poll on a forum that is full of people that come to look for a place to complain about the issues they have, right? I mean you do know that trying to draw conclusions is just plain illogical. But since you insist on drawing conclusions, so will I, 169 people on this poll are saying they have a shake or vibration. Even if the people that visit this site represent only 1% of total people that HAVE ISSUES with their K2xx's and we would illogically extrapolate the numbers, that would give us 16,900 trucks with a vibration. Heck, let's be conservative and say 0.1% of the people that have issues come to this site and voted on the poll, that would give 169,000 trucks with a vibration. Considering the number of these trucks sold, that is less 14% of the trucks sold with an issue. Is that too high? Of course, but it also means that 86% don't have vibration problems (over ONE MILLION K2's without vibrations).

There seems to be a fair amount of people on this site that have had some bad experiences with their 14/15 and don't hesitate to post about it in every thread they can, even long after they no longer own the vehicle and have moved on to a different Make altogether. Maybe it's time to let it go and move on entirely? All this negativity can't be good for your health.

Before you claim that I am a GM apologist, I am not. I am going this weekend to drive a Ram, Ford, Chevy and GMC. I am still undecided as to what to get. What I do know is that I will give them all a fair shot and when it comes to purchasing the truck in a couple months, I will give my choice a VERY thorough test drive before I commit to buying it.

So your reason for posting in this poll thread? Just to say theres a small amount that have the vib issue when you don't or never have even owned one. Wow.... whatever

Let's get real here. The intention of this poll was not to determine how many 2014/15 GM trucks in North America have vibration issues, we could NEVER determine that with a simple poll like this. The intention was to "test the water" and see, "of the 2014/15 current and former GM truck OWNERS who open this poll and vote", how many have vibrations and how many don't.

I doubt that anyone on this forum has the ability to determine if a LARGE or SMALL amount (whatever that number may be) of these trucks vibrate. Most of us gage it by the number of trucks we see in our area that have vibration issues.

I don't see why anyone would find the need to come to this thread just to say that there are a small number of trucks that have vibrations. If you feel the need to do that then why not just go to the vibration thread and say it.

My reason was to give my opinion based on months of research to a member who bought a truck with vibration after he was told by the salesman that they wouldn't look at it until it had 500 miles. My point was to state that he shouldn't have bought the truck to begin with and the salesman pulled a fast one on him. This was again based on my research (this forum) and the fact that I am a logical and non biased on this issue. Clearly your truck HAD vibrations. (I say had since you appear to have dumped it but are STILL posting about how Chevy's have vibrations.) Your perspective is that since yours had it, 48% have them, which I had to prove was false logic, it is a weakness of mine. That is all.

Clearly you are clueless once again. Did you not read my last post before you decided to run your gums again about the % of trucks in the country with vibrations. Obviously not!!

Now go back and read my post above your last one!! You are getting ridiculous. LMAO

I never said 48% of them, I said 48% of those people who voted on this poll so quit putting a spin on it.

I read it, and I ignored it because you started by saying something was wrong with me saying that there is a small amount of trucks with issues. Then after I pointed out the error of that thinking, you changed your tune and in essence, agreed with me. My assertion that a small amount of trucks have the issues comes from research and not being biased about the issue, your assertion that I was wrong about that comes from the fact that the truck you dumped had vibrations. Let's agree on something! We don't really know and probably won't ever find out what the true number of trucks with issues are.

I will just continue to do my research and do my test drives with the believe that IF I decide on a GM truck, I will buy one without issues. And if I end up with something else, I probably won't post on this forum anymore... If I buy one and dump it because it developed issues, I won't post here either...

What are you reading..... I never agreed with you!!! LMAO, what a joke. Go out and buy one then you can defend it and GM. You don't even own one, haha, but you want to argue about it.

I owned a 2014 and actually ordered a 2015 6.2L replacement truck with $8000 GM trade in assistance and when it arrived it vibrated too so I pulled out of the deal. I feel that I am justified in commenting on the vibration issue. GM needs to step up and help these guys out instead of denying it and tip toeing around the issue.

I went thru hell with that truck. Lost a lot of money too. I want others to know that its a real issue so they are aware of it when they go out to buy a truck. You don't want to find yourself in that position with a brand new truck. It sucks

Well that explains your perspective. Maybe I being overly optimistic. I just see a lot that don't have the issue.

My truck vibrates like crazy but its at speed. 70mph. Ive had the tires road force balanced and it vibrated so immediately took it somewhere else and they said they were spot on. Feels like a driveshaft isnt weighted properly.
