My 2014 Sierra got a replacement 2015 rear end. The results were - NO MORE vibration between 40 and 50 mph. The gearing in the differential was way out of specs on the first unit.

Was your vibration in the steering wheel or?

Was your vibration in the steering wheel or?

As I've said before, the vibration was like going over tiny rumble strips. Felt throughout the vehicle. Instantly noticed by the mechanic when he drove as I rode along. Constant frequency starting at 40, most noticeable around 45, disappearing above 50 mph.

Don't forget to vote, even if you don't have a shake or vibration.

Thanks

My 2014 LT All Star 4x4 shakes at 50mph, then has a pulsing vibration once I get to 65-70mph...this pulsing vibration mostly goes away after I get above 75mph, then at 82-83 it shakes again.

It did this the day I drove it home from the dealer. I never test drove the vehicle above 40-45.

I have 485miles on it currently.

Nice to hear, I hope you continue to be vibration and shake free.

Mine has 2900 kilometres now and is nice and smooth for the most part but once in awhile I will get a little shake in the steering wheel nothing to serious though, the problem I do have is a steering pull to the left ,I have experimented with just about every tire pressure from 32 psi up to 40 psi but no difference ,it is probably due to the garbage tires so I figure I might as well just buy some good ones myself as fight with the dealer and get the same garbage tires if they do happen to change them out, plus I will be towing with this truck so I am going to need a better tire anyway for safety reasons, probably go with michelins again they always make the grade in smoothness ride ,traction and longevity.

If it pulls to the left you should get a front end alignment.

yeah I will get that done when I put the new tires on for sure.

My 2015 Silverado 1500 LT had a wicked shimmy when I first got it. 20" wheels, Continental tires. My dealer was awesome. Road force balanced all four and discovered both rear tires were bad. Replaced both with no questions asked. Truck rides great now.

I voted for no shake or vibration.

That said, I do have a 2014 Rally edition with 22 inch rims and Bridgestone Dueler A/T RH-S tires. The only thing I feel is just a very very minor vibration, which I believe is from the tire/wheel combo. i test drove a 2015 Rally and it felt identical, I also test drove a LT with the 18 inch rims and it felt a little better. Therefore, everything feels normal for me.

After reading the haunting stories and topics about shake and vibration tissues, I was very alarmed and concerned. Since mine doesn't feel very pronounced, I am assuming I do NOT have the issues others have experienced.

Note: I only have 200 miles so far...

Would those have the infamous shake or vibration issues, agree that a front passenger would be able to feel it as well?

Again, the only minor vibration like feeling I have gotten is within in the steering wheel and it just feels like a normal feedback from the road and the tire\wheel combo. My front passenger did not feel anything of this manner.

Thanks in advance.
