So much bad info here. 4.88s are perfect for 35's and you won't run anywhere near 3000 rpm at 70.

Yep, what this guy said ^^^. 4.56 and 35" tires on the 14 and I turn right at 2300 rpm at 75. Spot on 2000 rpm at 60. Perfect if you ask me. I wish I could see 20 mpg, I was at 14 on the highway with a custom tune and the 3.42 gears. I can get 16.5-17 now with the 4.56 gears. If I towed more I would have done 4.88 in a heartbeat, wouldn't be scared of 5.13's either. All depends on what you are looking for. I can tell you from experience that I would not have been happy with the 4.10 and 35's

4.56 with 35s is ideal with mostly highway driving. Consider that most gear charts calculate that a 4.56 gear with 35" tires will bring you back close to stock based on tire size. But most fail to consider the added weight of the wheels and tires along with the overall increase in rolling resistance. I loved my truck with 35's and 4.88s. Even with 37s it will move.
