Best call Retrax, they offer a limited life time warranty that would cover warping

Most websites list the retail price, you need to call to get the discounted price. I highly suggest buying your Bakflip or Roll-X from www.bakfactoryoutlet.com The owner is Morrie, call directly and ask for the Forum discount and he'll give you his best price. 800 653-7089 ext. 704

I got the Roll-X on my new Sierra, works great so far. I had the Bakflip HD cover on my last truck, it was also a great cover - only con was blocking the entire back window when folded all the way up.

Bakflip also makes a retractable cover called the Rollbak, I guess they made it to try to compete with Retrax. But my brother tried it and we weren't too impressed with its quality, and it leaked alot along the tailgate based on the design of it.

I say Roll-X or any Bakflip model looks the best since they sit so flush. I see a lot of them around here, my FedEx driver at my house says he delivers alot of them. I have yet to even see a Retrax cover in person (looking for past 10 years).

That would be the Retrax ONE, which is made of polycarbonate. The Retrax PRO is aluminum, so it you're not going o have to worry about warping.

I have the bakflip as well, I'm very pleased with it. I had my doubts but after talking to my dealer when I bought the truck I went with the bakflip. The reason I steered away from the ones that roll up ones is they roll up into a canister at front of the bed. If you put something heavy/bulky in the bed and forget to secure it down it can easy damage the canister that holds the retracting cover. Once that canister is bent/damaged your cover probably won't roll out of the canister. By the way I didn't get mine at the dealer, they just pointed out what they had seen in the past vehicles that come in to them.

My final choice was the Bakflip Fibermax. It was between that and the F1 (because both of them would resist any damage from hail I may get into). The F1 is a little beefier, but also heavier and significantly more expensive. The place I bought mine from told me that if I'm not a contractor (i.e. won't be using the top of the cover to store heavy equipment, etc), that the Fibermax was the most reasonable choice. That's what I got and I'm real happy with it.

I don't know of any warping to the Retrax One.

I went with the roll-up canister style (Retrax-Pro) because I can still see the bed and what you are carrying in the bed VS. having the entire rear window blocked with a bakflip style tonneau cover. I always have bungee cords/tie-downs in the truck to secure anything I might have to carry with the cover in the full open position so I'm not worried about damaging the canister with a shifting load.
