rpm difference between gearing

Usually it's about a 200 rpm difference between the ratios. My 2011 with 3.73 was just under 2k at 70 and my 14 with 3.42 is like you said just under 1800.

Just wondering what the rpm difference is at 70mph. My 3.42 ratio at 70mph is around 1750rpm. How about those with 3.08 or 3.73?

1750 / 3.42 = 511.7

511.7 * 3.08 = 1576 rpm.

511.7 * 3.73 = 1909 rpm.

(Assuming the same size tires and transmission gear you're running down the highway.)

Never thought of that great math skills thanks!
