LArgest tire possible w level kit on stock 17's?

Sorry, had this in the K2XX forum. It was moved here. 2014 Sierra 4x4.

 

Largest possible with 2.5" levelling kit without rubbing or trimming.

As I don't have that truck, I can only speculate a 33x12.5 tire would clear. I am clearing 315 on RC lift/level kit that isn't cranked a full 2" in the front. The gmt800 had a wider wheel well than the newer trucks I believe. There are a couple of people here with newer trucks with that kit on it and I believe they have pic up in the gallery. Take a look, some look really nice.

Hard to compare the different gens and hard to know what your clearing when you only reference a tire width.

Without rubbing or trimming, a 285/70/17 would be the safest option. A few guys ran 295/70/17's with stock rims on the previous generation trucks with a 2-2.5" level....and the current generation seems to be a bit more forgiving when adding larger tires...so that would probably be an option too.
