Husky Liners Stepping Up Their Game...............

The new liners apparently have a logo insert in the mat like Weather Tech does. This is in both the X-act contour and the WeatherBeaters according to the ad pictures. Gives them a little more classy look, IMO.

 

I bought mine last year around this time, and they have came a long way. I haven't seen any of these new liners in person, and there is probably a lot of old inventory at the dealers and distributors? So, if you want the new look, it might be wise to order factory direct, or make sure your dealer is ordering new stock. My one year old design Husky WeatherBeaters don't look as pretty, but they do what they supposed to do, and well!

 

Just thought I would pass this on. The Husky Liners have a better fit in the 2014-2015 1500's than the other options, but now they look much nicer as well, IMO.

 

Check 'em out, I think you'll find them more appealing than before? If anyone has any of these new liners, please post actual pictures.

I have had my Husky x-act liners in my 2011 for about 3 years now. I love them.

 

They are super tough and they clean very easily. They are also a soft rubber that i like, unlike weathertechs that are a hard almost plastic like material.

 

Mine don't have that cool logo though.

I don't like the logo and glad I have the older design. I don't need more advertisement in my truck. I like to keep it plain and simple. If I get items with their names on it I hope I can take them off. I don't allow the dealer to put their name on the rear of my truck as well.

Mine are the older design and get dirty daily. I live in the boonies, work, hunting, and around the farm. So mine are perfect for me and obviously you. But let's face it, 50% of these trucks will never leave the pavement.

 

I would bet the name could be removed for those that don't like it?

I may have to buy some Husky X-act liners now. I hate how weathertechs feel. Especially when they get wet, forget about that. I think the weathertech liners are a safety hazard, I have no idea why people like there's so much. We ended up buying my dad some weathertech classic mats a few weeks ago. I wish I would have waited and got him the Husky liners instead. Oh well.

Had my husky liners about a week. We already have snow and sand on the road and they are priceless. Washed my truck yesterday and just pulled the X-act mat out and sprayed it off. No snow, water or sand on my carpet at all.

 

Mine have the husky logo just molded into the black rubber of the mat, not like the pic at the start. I prefer mine better

Sorry to resurrect an old thread. I just received my Husky X-Acts today. The new style emblem resembles the one on the Weathertech liners, which is easily removed. Has anyone successfully removed the new style stick-on logo? What's underneath? I figured I'd ask before I become the guinea pig.

Well, I took the plunge. The emblems peeled right off, but left some glue behind. After experimenting with some different products, I discovered that citrus-based Goo Gone worked the best at removing the residue without melting or distorting the resin the mats are made from. Underneath the emblem is just a smooth surface. I like the cleaner "debadged" look.

It's too bad Husky doesn't offer the center "hump" piece for the front on the X-Act Contour like they do for the Weatherbeater or I would have likely stepped up from the Weatherbeater (used in my last five vehicles) to the X-Act model. Maybe I'll look into a set of the X-Act for the front for the non-snow portion of the year and swap in the Weatherbeater system for the winter.

 

Now, if they could fix their web site so that you don't have to keep selecting your vehicle every time you switch from one product page to the next...

Sorry not really a fan of them glad they are stepping up their game but if they're going to cover up my door sills I rather just throw a towel instead
