Do you have a dashcam?

Just ordered mine.

When I see how 90% of the population can't drive for shit, I am not willing to take the chance any more. One never knows, a few hundred dollars could save a person a lawsuit.

I've been wanting one, but I keep putting it off. I just need to buy one, and be done with it.

I've bought my first one about two years ago.

A cheap one for 50 bucks. Just to see what it's worth. Wasn't too bad. Lasted about 18 month.

Now I've got a Blackvue DR530W 2-CH/HD. Way better picture and durability.

Now I can't imagine to be w/o one...the driving skills of the people here in the Lower Mainland... :noway: ...don't get me started....

I put a RoadHawkHD in my truck and the wifes car. Its piece of mind we got to many folks texting and idiots that don't have any business on the road here.

I have driven truck all over North America. In fact, I have been to every Canadian province with the exception of Newfoundland, and every American state with the exception of Hawaii, for the obvious reason. I can tell you that BC drivers, are in the top 3 of the worst on this entire continent. It blows me away how incredibly bad people here drive. There is no skill, no judgement, no common sense, and the biggest problem, no one cares.

^^This. And 'hit and run' is very popular too.

Almost every other day one can see it in the news.

Those are all reasons why I have a dash cam.

The only thing you need to be aware of is that the footage in case of an accident can be used against you or you can't use it at all because of your own bad driving.

(I'm not saying that you do... :) )

It's just one thing what you have to keep in mind. Safety distance, speed, yielding, lane change...everything you do is also recorded.

That's another good thing about a dash cam. It'll discipline yourself.

Been running one for almost a yr. well worth the $99. Great quality and it has caught a few close calls with cars trucks and animals. Also captures some cool footage during our car cruises

This was saved as low quality 720 that's why t is a little grainy. 1080p comes out clear but is a pretty large file

Edit: The quality is not very good. I edited the video with the Windows Movie Maker. The original footage is actually very clear. Guess I need better tools...lol.

I use the same (windows movie) it really cuts down the quality :(

And then they come to Florida for the winter and totally screw up our roads. [emoji35]

I have a Mini 0805 that is rear facing and a G1WC that is mounted just in front of the rearview mirror. Love them ... I post "idiot driver" photos all the time on my fb that seems to be a hit ... haha
