2012 Z71 Gauge Cluster..

So, I was sitting in traffic yesterday, letting my mind wander (never a good thing) and realized, my Z71 doesn't have any special instrument cluster. I thought all Z71s had a special gauge cluster with Z71 on it and brushed silver background or something.

 

Am I missing something?

Only trucks with the Z71 appearance pkg got the special cluster.

Ok, what would the appearance package consist of?

Mine is an All Star Edition, with all chrome front end, and Z71 with the sticker on the back portion of the bed.

 

Sorry, I just noticed it last night, after I have had the truck for 10 months, lol

To add it isn't too terribly hard. They are not available at the dealer, but E-Bay comes through in this instance..

Only front bumper. Rear is the same as any other. You also get Silverado sill plates.

 

 

And a front end covered in paint chips. [emoji53]

While you have it all apart, add this cluster bezel with the chrome rings, if yours does not have it already.

the All Terrain is an appearance package for the Z71 from what I was understanding.. You cant have one without the other..

Wow, I said that wrong... Sorry.. I meant it had to be Z71 for the All Terrain package, but couldnt be All Terrain without being Z71 already...

My gauges do have the chrome trim around. How difficult is the swap to the Z71 face on the gauges? I am sure i can find a YouTube...
