Hi, all I finally pulled the trigger on a 2014 LT TX Edition a couple days ago. I traded in the Tundra and I can say Im impressed with the Silverado so far. It has a few things I don't like but they are very minor. Anyhow, I already did some plasti-dipping to the truck since I hate chrome. Taking off the running boards and finishing up the rear bumper plasti-dipping next week. Gonna order some lowering shackles to level the rear too. Anyhow, heres the truck, I'll post up more next week when I get the rest finished.

Nice. So the grill boarders and the front bumper is plastic dip? Damn it looks to nice to be plastic dip.

Did you take everything off and spray it? or you just sprayed it with everything on? Damn I'm really liking that look!! Last question, did you use the spray cans or spray gun? Thanks

The bumpers, gril, and inserts all all dipped.

I masked off the bumpers. The grill I removed and then took apart the inserts and emblem and dipped them all seperately. I used cans as well. Most people dip stuff and dont spray correctly thats why it looks like crap and doesnt peel correctly. 2 light coats and then 2 medium coats and end with 1-2 heavy coats. I spray the last coat or two so they are on the verge of running but not quite. Its a fine line and takes some practice.
