2015 Denali NZT Rims

Hi Folks,

I'm new to the forum and have just placed my order in for a new 2015 Denali. ( coming from a 1997 Chevy pickup with 300000kms)

I decide to order the upgraded 20 inch - NZT polished aluminum rims . Anyone else order them or seen them yet? Are they exactly the same as the regular Denali - but just polished?

I know they are listed as interm availablity so the supply may not be out there.

Doesn't the 2015 come with the polished wheels standard? I thought the chrome 20's where optional?

Everyone around here gets the 22's, $3000 option but well worth it, comes with great tires as well.

Mine was stock chrome.. no option selected. These look just to be polished aluminum and still have Denali stamped in them.

The later 2015 has the machined rim as standard and the polished rims as an option. I don't think you can get a chrome rim anymore for the Denalis.

The chrome rims also come with an all chrome center cap where it says GMC, and it looks like on the polished rim the GMC is in red on the center cap.

No chrome on the new ones.

I spoke to the Dealer and the chrome ones are no longer offered ( heard there were quality issues )

NZT polished aluminum rims are a $300 option over the standard ones.

I haven't seen them on a vehicle yet.. but wanted to know if anyone else can confirm if they are identical except for these a polished. (if appears so from the small pic on the website )

That is correct, the standard wheel is pretty dull, looks like a shitty polished wheel, like it is very dirty or something.

The polished wheel is a better match for the truck.

The plant had a explosion and can no longer Chrome plate the wheels for GM (http://www.foxnews.com/world/2014/08/03/explosion-at-china-car-parts-plant-kills-at-least-6-injures-more-than-180/).

GM is finding a replacement and will again be offering the chrome wheels.
