Not Happy, But Amazon did good trying to fix it.

I bought wheels and tires off Amazon. LT275/65/18 Duratracs.

 

All 4 shipped very fast, but when one of them arrived the tire shop refused to mount it.

They say it has a bent sidewall cord. They think someone hit the tire with a fork lift.

 

I'm not happy cause i have to wait before I can put my new wheels and tires on.

 

Anyway... while at the tire shop I tried to call Amazon. Could not find a numbers.

So, I started the return process.

 

Clicked Return Item.

 

They asked my to select why.

I selected Product is Damaged.

 

Next they ask me how I would like to return the item.

UPS Drop OFF

UPS Pickup
Other

 

I selected UPS pick up.

 

Next the said I will be sent an email to print my return label and UPS would contact me to schedule a pickup time.

I clicked OK

 

Next it said you tire will be replaced today. Here is your new order number.

You have 30 days to return the old product or we will charge you credit card

for the original cost of the product.

 

That's it... took less then 1 minute.

 

Now, I just have to wait for the tire to show up.

Sure I am pissed the tire is damaged, but I cannot say Amazon is not on top of there game.

I have had one return to Amazon with a defective issue and it was handled no questions asked. Glad they are taking care of you

They are easy to deal with for sure. They missed their guaranteed delivery date with me, so within a few clicks I had all of the shipping fee returned.

Glad you got taken care of. As much as I order from Amazon, I'm surprised that I have not had things delivered damaged more often. Accidents happen, and I'm glad Amazon understands that as well.
