wwyd?

I own a gmc 1500 AT double cab. I hate the chrome and love color matched everything!........so im planning on doing this huge ****ing swap which is gonna be a huge hassle yada yada yada . So any way I run into this guy with a Chevrolet double cab 1500 same truck essentially without all the bells and whistles boo shit. So dudes says "I want all of your chrome " (Hispanic guy). So im super juiced!.......... so I begin the process of pricing out all these parts to color match( handles, bezels, mirror cap, door trim, window trim.)

heres the big question I need your opinions on!!!

the chrome is used and useless to me but still worth money and is not useless to this guy. what is a fair way to price this stuff out or sell it to him ?

option 1: my CM'd parts without paint are 560 not installed..... I tell him pay half that $280 and he gets all my chrome?

its ****ed on my end b/c all my chrome trim and handles bolts rite on to his truck, no issues for him. on my end I have to remove the chrome, buy all new parts blank then color match em and re-install. going to cost shit tone more than 50% im charging him not including the labor to do this stuff

suggestions please!?

thanks

Well its your choice to sell him the parts, he shouldn't have to pay higher just cause you have to take it off. If you don't want to do the work don't sell them. If everybody who took stuff off their truck put the "labor" into the price we might as well buy from a dealership.

if you look on shopchevyparts.com they have the cost of the chrome handles and everything else on their. Check and price accordingly, depending on the condition of yours.

Are you swapping out your back bumper? Mine is chrome and I wish I had the black one that comes on the work truck. I just had my wheels painted black (getting black lugs) and I'm thinking about blacking out the silverado on the doors.

Thanks,

I'd just do a swap with him and get them painted, instead of purchasing all new parts AND paying to have them painted. I also wouldn't pay to have any of these parts installed. Check toney green on eBay, he is always listing painted handles and mirror cap take offs in excellent shape. I just got a set of onyx black handles from him last week in flawless condition.
