Diablo intune questions on setup

I finally got around to changing my tune from the 87/flex with AFM off, TM off, firm shift, throttle at +12. I put on the 91/flex with AFM off, TM on, firm shift, throttle at +2. After a full tank on the new tune my mpg is the same as my last tank on the other tune at 15.8 mpg. So if does not seem like the throttle boost made any difference. And back in May I was not tuned for a few weeks and I was avg 13 mpg so it seems the diablosport really helps my mpg out (I always use E85). Makes me wonder if it isn't the AFM off making the difference since I've never had it off prior to putting the tune back on in early June.

Anyway that 1-2 shift hesitation that you noticed while tuned was that under medium acceleration? I had just a very short pause today on a 1-2 shift under medium acceleration that I had never noticed before. They are always very quick with the firm tune. Wondering if this is what you were noticing?

Yep..thats what I'm noticing. About medium throttle 1-2 bogs as it hits 2nd. Then comes back up but not till rpms build up. Also I turned on afm and my mileage went way up. 3/4 tank and ave 17mpg. Vs 15 with afm off. This is due entirely to city driving where v4 would turn on mostly for me. The firm shift holds the gears longer (higher rpms before shifting) and was getting worse mpg vs stock as a result. I expected this tho due to increased performance resulting from keeping the engine in a higher power band. However, with afm on even with the higher rpms..in town at cruising speeds 25-45mph its hitting 30mpg on the instantaneous readout and resulting in an increase in overall mpg per tank. Mpg for tank average would be even better but I've been lead footing it lately :)
