Ok...so one GM dealer came down $9k off stickers. $44,105 sticker, selling price of $35,135. They're offer my $17k on my trade. If the truck was a 2015 and they gave me $19k on the trade, I'd be all in. To be continued.

Get the price WITHOUT the trade.... THEN talk trade. Otherwise, they just move numbers back and forth to make it look good. $9K off stickers is pretty good. Tell them you're considering the price, but don't want to trade, and ask if they can do any better....

AFTER you get their best price, get it in writing, then work on the trade.

New dealer new deal 2015 Crew, 3.42, all star package. 45.5k. 10k off. So 35.5k sale price before trade. Going tomorrow to get my trade appraised.

Aren't you just a little ray of sunshine! I'll bet you're great at parties!

My cheerfullness will in no way lower the probability of him buying a lemon.

Got a good deal on mine, 10k off and damn near retail for my 09 cc silverado

That seems like a really good deal provided your new truck turns out to be one of the good ones.

I haven't had any problems what so ever , the truck has been great so far

I think most people don't have any issues, most people on this forum don't have any major issues but, a higher percentage of forum uses have issues I'd suspect vs. the general population of GM truck buyers.

I have a few issues on my 2014 Sierra and I will never shut my mouth about it . However I still love this truck hands down. The looks of this truck is night and day better then the POS Tundra and Titan .

That said, the Tundra and Titan are still trash trucks. POS is a good name for the Tundra.

Gotta love the TURD editions...What a joke they have a truck called the 1794 .

Their makers spend too much time on Carollas, and Sentras to even care about their aging trucks. This is why they havent touched their POS trucks in 10 years , because they know better.

And when they do , its a F'n copy cat of another truck ( See 2016 Titan who pretends its a 2014 F150 but in reality its just a ulgy japaneese woman =)

RAM,Gm twins, FORD trucks >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Japaneese trucks.

id rather drive a 20 year old Ram, F150 or GM twin then be caught dead in a Floyota wanna be truck. With its wimpy 5 lug set up. What a F joke the ToyoDUHH is ...

LMAO @ the turd edition ..TURD OFF ROAD ...hahahaha

Cmon PM26 , bring it ..You sissified Japanesse truck supporter. =0) Wiating on your sorry 2 cents

A friend of mine just purchased a new 2014 Silverado with quite a bit of rebates. Mid 30's...Z71 Cloth.

I Traded in my 2014 Z71 Silverado dual cab, 3 weeks ago, for more than the KBB private value, so I think these truck are not bad at all when it comes to their resale value.

2014 may not lease well, but they could be a great buy

FWIW, I'm in MA and just picked up a leftover 2014 last month. I got a 14 double cab LTZ Z71 fully loaded minus rear entertainment. It was a 49k sticker that i got for 36k plus my trade. I haven't has any issues yet, although I just contacted a GM rep on here to find out the build date, February 2014, so I know it sat for a while. Only problem I do have is no SMS feature in my Mylink.

2014 gmc are problems don't buy one just traded my 2014 all terrain for a 2013 gmc slt 2500 with 38000 miles on it with no vibration issues. Looked at the tundra 5.7 $40,000 they had no heated seats no. Remote starter manual sests etc my first truck was the gmc 2014 for 37,000 unfortunately it had vibration problems but did have more amenities then the Toyota for less money.also looked at the Ford F-250 can't believe they still have lock in hubs ? Had a ford in the 1980s with lock in hubs. Ford needs to get with the times . Didn't want to go back to GMC but unfortunately they had the best quality truck . GM customer service is bad and will I never deal with them again.

I have to call B.S. on that one. My '14 along with the majority of others has been problem free.
