What do you carry for your CCW?

Recommended Posts

Glock hasn't had all-plastic mags in years. That must've been a real early 40 cal. I only have one Glock, it's a 357 Sig but I bought 40 and 9mm barrels and mags for it. All are metal with plastic on the outside.

I'd guess it's an early Glock. I should probably get a later metal magazine for it and shoot it again sometime. It's been years since I fired it. I lost interest in guns after gun smithing for years supporting a handful of stores. My only passion in guns in the past dozen years has been side by side shotguns. Pistols are in the "tool" category for me, at this time. But I do appreciate any well made firearm.

Too many to list but lately it's been a SR9c since I'm too lazy to wear anything but shorts. SmartCarry holds pretty much any of my pistols well enough although I don't think I've tried my 4" Redhawk with it yet. Glock 20 works just fine in it.

Possibly my next purchase as well. Absolutely love this gun!

I have a holster and carry ammo on order. Want to get a couple hundred FMJ rounds through it plus some carry ammo to ensure reliability and be off to the races with it. Give the Glock a break. It's been suffering fat guy sweat since 2009.

It was FREE... What does it matter to you?

Like I said, just curious. I have no beef with Glock, I'm carrying one now. My question was why OC a pistol so small that is seemingly made to conceal?
