What do you carry for your CCW?

Like I said, just curious. I have no beef with Glock, I'm carrying one now. My question was why OC a pistol so small that is seemingly made to conceal?

Not sure why he was offended with your question but OC is a bad idea no matter which pistol. All it does is advertise that you have a firearm. Some people do it for the "look at me" factor, just for attention. There is no reason for anybody to know you are carrying a firearm, ever.

Relax, this is a forum,we ask questions and give advise. No need to get snippy or feel offended.

Open carry is a bad idea no matter what the size of the pistol. It advertises you have a firearm and makes you a potential target. Many people do it for attention, because they think it makes them look cool, or to prove a political point. hopefully that's not your goal.

HK9c or a 1911 .45 or a titanium Taurus .45 colt or a SW 19-4 .357. Depends on day and weather outside.

Trying out a STI Duty One 3.0 .45 acp. Love the feel, look, and functionality so far.

Glock 43 for summer carry, and M&P 45c for sweatshirt/jacket weather.

Depends on what I'm wearing. Light clothing eg. Shorts I carry my LCP. If I am dressed light or normal I carry my LC9, and if wearing a jacket or heavy clothing I carry my SR40c.

I choose to regulate weapon to what I'm wearing because I don't support Open carry as it causes to much worry and unrest by individuals who see it and I don't see the point of making someone feel unsafe. I know if I see a open gun my first thought isn't a good one. So I choose to conceal because I'm the only person who needs to know that I'm armed.

I only OC on my own property or at the shooting club I belong to.

Started with a M&P 9 fullsize, changed to Taurus PT709 and now devide my carry with the M&P 9 and Magnum Research 1911G. If I was to OC would probably be the Pietta 45 Colt while not an original 45 Colt revolver, it is still pretty to look at in the leather holster and belt full of 45 Colt cartridges, but feel more comfortable CC when not at home. No need for extra attention from thugs and Gun Control Nazi's, especially with some of these groups promoting calling the police anytime they see a gun. I obey the laws and feel no reason to waste a LEO's time for lawfully carrying. As for the thugs, I'm happy not to be seen by them as I spend a considerable amount of time with them at work already.

I carry a Kel Tech 380, very small and light and easy to conceal, but carries a good punch.

    • Because single shot injectors are ancient and multi hole injectors provide smoother running engines and sharper throttle response due to the fuel being atomized better..the best lead I have is a 24lb blue top injector almost everything matches up but the injector will put out about 26lb/hr which is just outside the gm threshold.figured id ask here to see if there was an absolute answer
    • Why is my question?   Any change in injectors requires a tune. Unless you are going back with the OEM part number or a newer part number of that same injector.   Any size difference or type difference like the EV6 style injectors all have different injector data for them. And there is no EV6 injector that matches the factory 25 lb/hr size that your truck comes with. I've been messing with these trucks and tuning them for a long time and what you trying to do doesn't exactly make sense to me.
    • My 6.6 gas lt8 had lifter noise with 28000 miles bought new 2026 and while driven to dealer it threw #1 rod bearing “HD my ass” good luck with yours i hope it don’t turn a rod bearing!
    • When a condition becomes a business model.    https://www.gm-trucks.com/gm-truck-suv-incentives-pricing-2026/   Zane posted this in "Latest Articles".    The honest bottom line   Truck buyers have spent three years assuming this is a temporary condition that will break once inventories normalize. GM just presented it to investors as a durable strategy, on a chart, as evidence of good management.   Inventory did normalize. GM is at 511,000 units and squarely inside its own 50 to 60 day target. The discounts still did not come back, because the low incentive number is the goal rather than a symptom of shortage.   Plan your purchase around that reality instead of waiting for it to change. Follow our ongoing GM News coverage for pricing and incentive changes as the next-generation trucks land.
    • Thought it was raining this morning when we woke. Nope. Dew point was over 80 F and humidity 98%. Zero visibility distance. Everything was 'sweating'. I've seen rain come out of clouds but never out of Pepper or the tree trunks.    Wicked storms just missed us sliding off to the east but by blocks. Heat index about 110 F with air temp in the 90's.    This is  our third wave this month of multiple days of this type of weather. And yet the grass is going dormant and the ground is cracking this side of the street and water up the the hood opposite. Just weird stuff going on.
