Hello, my name's John, 33, resident of NJ and I bought my first ever brand new vehicle last week, a 2015 Sierra 1500. Never owned a vehicle that cost more than $6k in the 16 years I've been driving so this is extra nice. Always wanted a truck and certainly wanted something for the family to grow into. I've been a car enthusiast for years, mostly older VW's/BMW/Merc's/Jeeps, but pretty much any vehicle my friends and family could tinker around with.

Naturally, I'm now glued daily to aftermarket truck part websites & now bouncing around the forum for ideas, recommendations, and to admire some great looking trucks.

SLE Trim, Crew Cab, Iridium Metallic, Z-71 OR package, 5.3 V8

Ok, terrible first post so I'll sign off for now...

Welcome to General Motors and this site.

Enjoy the truck.

Ignore the naysayers and trolls. It'a really great truck.

Welcome!

Let me guess, it has a standard bed? Is your truck 2wd or 4wd?

Thanks all. I agree with all the parts out there, I don't know where to begin...
