What do you keep in your truck?

Both in my work ride and personal vehicle are a good quantity of napkins and hand sanitizer if I end up having to help someone with a flat or whatnot and find my hands dirty. Castrol used to make this waterless hand cleaner that went on in a gel and turned into almost pencil eraser-like fragments when you rubbed your hands together. The stuff worked great, then I believe they stopped making it.

If you are looking for a cheap kit, it looks like harbor side has on sale the 105 piece tool kit for 36.99. Plus the 20% on that, it would make a cheap item to have.

I don't think that one has the hammer and isn't as complete as the one mentioned above. I like it because I can fit it behind the seat where I couldn't do it with a tool box etc. There is no room behind the seat (put behind passenger's side) of a regular pickup anymore when the seat is fully pushed back. I like it because tools are organized and has a great lay out. Better than a tool box where you have to look for the tools you need. Everything you need is there for a quick repair for vehicle or personal use away from home. This way I can keep in in the cab and locked up and out of sight. One place for everything. I got mine for about $31 on a special sale. Plus I got a free gift with it.

Harbor Freight has a 25% discount on 4/5/2015 (one day only). Print copy attached for coupons.

At all times in my tool box I have 2 camp chairs,an axe,a tow strap, a duffle bag of ratchet straps and tie downs, about 10 screw drivers , an air ratchet, die grinder, impact wrench, ball pein hammer, a set of wrenches from 1/4 to 1 1/16 and metric 7mm to 22mm- I have the same sizes in sockets in shallow, mid depth and deep, about 5 different types of pliers.I have a cargo net and a load bar. I have various chemicals. tire plug kit. flashlight in my tool box and another in the glovebox.

In the cab I carry tylenol, bandaids ,pepcid and immodium, mouthwash, usually an extra jacket, gloves knit hat, base ball cap, umbrella, sunglasses, cellphone charger, a couple thousand songs on an sd card and a measuring tape.

If I am going on a trip I would pack my portable jump pack, small air compressor for (tires and such).water and extra clothes.

I always carry a cellphone and a Knife so that goes without saying. I bring a few more knives if I am going on a camping trip though.

I always keep a few diamond and 2-3 gold bars in my truck. And by the way my address is... haha! On a little more serious note, I have a tonneau cover so I always keep all my stuff in a rugged tote tied off in the bed. I keep a towing strap, booster cables, a cheap tool kit, tire plug kit and air pump, hitch attachment, first aid kit and a few ratchet straps. If I expect to get in some snow I would also add a shovel and some traction ramps in there too.
