I have a 02 GMC Sonoma that will idle fine then when I put it in gear it just dies. I've cleaned the throttle body and the Mass Air Flow sensor. What should I try next.

When you cleaned the throttle body, did you also clean the IAC motor? It is the device that controls the amount of air that bypasses the throttle body to control engine speed. You will also want to check for any vacuum leaks. You can use the spray you used for cleaning the throttle body to check for vacuum leaks. Pay closer attention to the manifold to head area. If idle speed changes when spraying the cleaner, go to another area and test there for leak, then go back to where it made the engine speed change. If you can duplicate the idle changing, then that will be where the vacuum leak will be.

Don't forget to check around the brake booster as well. Also check for any codes stored in the ECM.
