Roadmaster Active Suspension helpers..any good?

A friend of mine purchased a used '12 or '13 Silverado and the previous owner installed a Roadmaster Active Suspension system on it. He said I could have it the next time I saw him.

Are these any good and how do they compare to the other helpers out there? I don't tow often or much weight so airbags are out of the question.

Will this system raise the rear of the truck like the others do?

Sorry for the late reply! I don't have any personal experience, but I've read tons of positive reviews about them and am considering getting them myself. The seem to help about the same as a solid set of helper springs, but the advantage is that they can be adjusted to provide as much or as little assistance as you like. On full size trucks, they shouldn't lift it too much, no more than an inch or so.

Depending on how often you tow and what amount of weight you are towing, you should not need any type of helper spring. These pickups tow really well and unless you are at capacity on a regular basis your factory suspension will do fine.
