Hi all, random but very useful question. Under the bumper is the huge, ugly air deflector. When I had my plow installed, they had to cut it for the plow frame as usual. Well mine broke plowing this winter and I either need a new one or leave it off. The 1500 has a smaller one that the 2500hd has...has anyone put a 1500 air deflector on a 2500hd successfully?

Either leave it off or trim the bottom so it's not as low. They look too different for a 1500 valance to fit on an HD bumper. I was going to trim mine, but it got scrapped up real bad before I got a chance so I just took mine off. Looks much better without it in my opinion.

It's off right now, and I like it. Just don't know where to mount the front plate. They like to write tickets in NY for it. Any ideas?

The redneck way would be to take a couple zip ties and zip tie it to the lower opening in the bumper lol. They do make thin metal zip ties so it wouldn't be so easy to cut off. I bought a pack of them from O-Reilly Auto Parts.

Wow, good call. I can't believe western doesn't make this...seems like an easy up sell. I might call on this.

I decided to just leave it off, looks better anyways. Just gotta mount the front plate, haven't decided which way to go with that yet.
