Noise Cancellation on 6.2 - Gimmick or Real Thing?

Does the noise cancellation actually work? Seems like if it did, folks wouldn't complain so much about aftermarket exhaust drone. Has anyone noticed a real difference on the highway?

My 6.2 is quieter from inside cab than the 5.3's. That is untill you step in it then is says "screw your old people sound deadening gimmick, I'm gonna breathe"

i cannot comment as i have never ridden in a 5.3 (seriously never had any interest) but i can tell you the 6.2 is every bit as quiet as my cadillac. (possibly more so)

Active noise cancellation is not a gimmick. But it has limitations and can be overwhelmed. Buy a set of Bose noise canceling headphones for your next flight. They really do work.

It's pretty quiet in the cab, all I hear is my flowmaster and my radio. Lol
