I think I have everything worked out, but want your opinions.

This is what I am looking at purchasing at $40K OTD with 0% for 72months. I was wondering what your thoughts are...am I leaving anything on the table?

Thanks for your advice.

My GMC Sierra All Terrain had a $51,900 MSRP. Was OTD at $40k too, but no one was offering 0% for 72 months at the time. I got 1.89% for 72 months.

Sounds like a good deal to me!

Sales tax on a vehicle is 6.25% in Texas, so from my calculations it would be a little over $15K discount. I guess I am looking for affirmation that I am getting a good deal or I could be wrong and am not getting a good deal.

Your sales tax, tags, and fees will be extra, on top of the $40k.

Your sales tax will be based on msrp.... 6.25% at $51,925= $3,245

If they are saying sales tax, tags, and fees are included, I would be signing and running out the door! Asap!

My advice...don't buy a GM product.

What state bases sale tax on money you didn't spend? My sales tax(NE) was on the sale price. That just doesn't sound right.

Delaware

But my sales tax is only 3.75%

I'm also in Texas, San Antonio area. Where did you find that great deal? I 'm also looking!

Sales tax is based on the DIFFERENCE between sale price for new vehicle and value of traded vehicle. Your old truck plus $10k? Tax based on $10k.
