I have searched and read reviews on the Revolver X2 but looking for some more brutal honest opinions. Would you buy it? Buy it again? I was quoted $798 but think I can get it cheaper. If I don't go with the Revolver X2, I will probably look at the undercover flex. I want to stay at or under $700. Any feedback is appreciated.

I have one and I have to say I like the function and all but after only a month things are falling apart on it.. Screws falling out and they are all stripped out the rubber seal against the tailgate keeps coming off. Working with them on warranty stuff now hang went anywhere yet.. I did have an F1 that I really liked wish I would have gotten that again. Would I buy it again... I would like to say yes if they resolve the problems with this.... Bak industries does make great covers maybe I just got a lemon product

Thanks Bukwuk, where did you buy it from and how much did you pay, if you don't mind me asking.

I got the Gator FX3 hard folding tonneau cover from Tonneaucoversworld.com, for $730 I think. I love it, it's held up great, but only had it as long as I have had the truck. One of my first mods.

No problems as of today. Not 100% water proof, I do get a few drops on the inside of the bed after a hard rain/ car wash. But I'm fine with that. 99% is good enough for me.

If you call tonneaucoversworld or start a chat with sales rep, they normally give you a discount.

I don't have the revolver but I do have the undercover flex. Last summer was great this summer not so great. It still looks great and functioning fine but it seems to have sprung a leak somewhere.

Just ordered the Revolver X2. $750 shipped, no tax. Will post pics and review next week when it comes in.

I have its predecessor, the Roll-X, on my Sierra. Think I've had it on the truck since the week after I bought it, meaning I've just about had it on for a year now. For all/most intents and purposes, I do love it. Not completely waterproof at this point as others have noted, but figure I need to play with some of the weatherstripping at the front of the box sometime. Do make sure to regularly care for the vinyl with a "back to black" or other trim/vinyl conditioner, as it will fade with time/ UV exposure. Just noticed mine actually fits better than when it was new...the flap against the tailgate used to be somewhat loose (I could kinda pull on it for 1/8" or so), but now it's incredibly taut. If you're paying anything over $790 something, you're over paying -- deal with Morrie at the Bak Factory Direct site instead. Good customer service and a great deal.
