Say what you will the BFG KO2's look great on this truck

They actually look great on every truck. The problem with the BFG's is their price. They cost much more than other tires with similar or better performance.

I used to run nothing but the BFG AT's until I bought a set of Cooper Discoverer AT3's after seeing how they performed on another truck. For a few hundred dollars less, I now have tires with the same or better performance in some areas.

They may not look as aggressive or 'cool' but they definitely get me through the snow and ice with less effort and give me a 55,000 mile warranty...Unfortunately, no such luck from BFG.

I never had the new BFG AT KO 2's but they are nearly identical to the General Grabber AT2 and costs a couple hundred dollars more.

So the cooper's have the same winter traction as the bfgs? I just got my leveling kit installed and I'm looking at tires I can get 275/70r18 ko2s for 950 installed and the at3 for 850.. I want a tire I can be confident with when my wife takes the truck to work 30 miles on backroads

I never got to run my KO2's in the snow, I have a fresh pair of Cooper ATP's on right now, so I'll find out in a few weeks.

But my only grip about the KO2's (other than the price, they are pretty much the most expensive tire in the category) is the ride. They are E-rated and on a 1500 or SUV they are too much tire and they ride rough. Bulletproof, great traction, long life (if anything like the old KO).

Lets not rush that snow ;).

I have the ATPs as well, in E, and the ride isn't bad at all with the pressures in the lower 40s.

Wrangler Duratracs. I had them on my ranger and they were the best tired I have ever owned. Awesome in the snow

I actually enjoy the snow, I just don't like -30 windchills.

Im about to upgrade to some OEM replicas in 22" from my stock 20's. Damn the 22" tire selection is bleek.

Any suggestions for 22"? Thanks!

I run 295/60R20 Toyo Open Country ATII on stock wheels during the summer. Great tire so far...love them! I just put on a set of 275/70R18 Cooper Discoverer ATW's for the winter...excited to see how they perform.

Finally decided on the cooper atp in 275/60r20. Only put 20 miles on them on the drive home but they road great and only noticed the slightest hum, hardly more than the OEs. It's the p rated atp. Where are you guys running your pressures on the atp??....DT put 37 on the right side tires and 34 on the left  I think they look great, just hope I don't see much of a mpg drop. Will report back with that after some more time with them.
