2008 GMC SIERRA SLE

just noticed this high pitch whistling noise the other day. It sounds like it's coming from the driver side front wheel. Only sounds when in motion. And if you listen to the sound in the video, it sounds like it's going along with the motion of the wheel

Any thoughts on what It could be??

Take a look at the front brake pads. May be they are on the wear sensors. Generally when they just start to touch applying light brake pedal will make the noise stop, letting off the brake pedal, sound will come back.

Next time do the same thing in the video but put your foot on the brakes while moving and see if the sound goes away if it does then its the brakes if it doesn't then look into the "U" joints.

A friend of mine had the exact same problem with the ''U'' joints.

So if the whistling doesn't go away, that might really be the problem.
