no prob...i think exhausts are subjective when i comes to sound. it depends what your looking for. i drive my truck daily so i didnt want something obnoxious that i would get tired of quickly. i got a nice rumble outta this and im very pleased. i was happy with the price as well

We can't get away with sound levels that most parts of the country can. Lots of pampered poodles up here in the Northeast. Pretty much anything above normal conversation volume gets these people rattled, and they call the cops.

Wife got a $50 ticket & 6 year insurance surcharge because I tried to cheap out on the exhaust on our '89 S10 Blazer, and threw on a $15 glass pack .. WITH the cat and stock manifolds! Wasn't very loud, IMO. The trooper thought so though - they win every time ...

Yes. it sounds bad. Dubbed the helicopter noise. It sounds like a misfiring engine. I had AFM tuned out of my truck so it never goes into V4 mode. Sounds way better at all speeds.

I think you're confusing drone with the V4 engine note. Drone is when one certain frequency of sound becomes shrill and hurts the ears. The V4 engine note just plain sounds bad. Not sure if the Borla kits have an internal flapper valve to mitigate that noise.

Finally heard that funny sound when engine went into V4 mode while slowing down a off ramp. I use M5 and switch up to M6 on expressway .
