Disinfecting interior without damaging it

What does everyone use to disinfect their interior (seats, stealing wheel, radio controls, etc.) when someone has been in the car sick? My wife and daughter have had pink eye and I need to disinfect her truck, but want to ensure I don't damage the interior finishes. We use Lysol and Clorox whipes in the house. Is there something similar that is safe for auto interior?

Maybe a good quick interior detailer?

Be careful with Lysol, it can leave a sticky layer, and I stay away from clorox 'cause the bleach may fade the cloth. I used Lexol cleaner & conditioner for leather - loved it.

Clorox wipes should do it. just don't use in direct sun light, and when interior is cool. you may want to do it 2x just to be on the safe side..

good luck..

lysol concentrate diluted...in a spray bottle.

the "kills 99.5% of all germs" version.

smells way better than that spray stuff too.

simple green on the handles and wheel to get people slime off, then the lysol.

my brother left a beer can upside down in one of the side buckets.. smelled ferment after 90F days went by.

gets that stuff too.

a/c really gets stuff cleaned out, spray the air intake on recycle mode..

Awesome! Thanks for all of the suggestions. I really don't want to catch this stuff. Her eye looks horrible.

replace the truck

She still likes it and it's paid for. That leaves more money for me to play with my truck. Rhino spray in liner and Magnaflow exhaust are in my near future.
