Center console area by cupholders

Does anybody make a matching slide in piece that would go in the area by the slide in cupholders? I haven't found anything that would work except buying another drink holder slide in accessory.

 

Anybody found anything? I can't be the only one!

You are not the only one. I've been looking and have yet to find anything. To me the area just looks like it is missing something.

It definitely looks like it needs something there. I am really surprised somebody hasn't come up with something. I love the deep compartment by the phone holder area but seems like a better use of space would be to have a tray slide in thing covering it.

There have been some guys that have shoehorned in another cup holder. I bought a second cup holder from eBay and it will not fit without removing the side guide bars, since they don't align with the console slots with 2 cup holders inserted. The spring loaded balls in the cup holder don't align with any dimples in the console either. So you're on your own to make it work.

Seems maybe the deep hidden compartment under the cup holders was meant for something clandestine like a hand gun?

i dremeled off the side guides from a second cup holder and it fits in there good , not super secure but added a piece of weather strip so it will not wiggle around and it make a great phone holder and hides all my change underneath

I have measured it , you cannot fit another factory cupholders accessory. GM interior designers missed the length that will enable me and others to mount 4 cupholders

with some modifications you can, I sanded the side guides off and it drops right in and fits perfect

Yep, it's the one that goes inside the part where the arm rest is...not where the cup holders go.

I have my Glock 27 with 2 spare magazines in my deep hole under the cup holders. Great spot for that!
