Basic wiring 101 and the battery.

This is basic but if you don't ask you don't know. On my 2015 GMC Sierra, I have this attached photo. When running light bars, or anything requiring power do I run it directly to one of the posts in the picture or do I add an accessories post to the positive post and call it a day. Thanks

Do those positive posts have constant power or do they have to have the truck running?

If the new trucks are similar to the GMT-900, there's no reason not to use a post for an accessory power such as a light bar. It's easier and cleaner that way than it would be adding any other posts. Using an existing post is the proper way to install your accessories.

I agree totally. I was getting mixed reviews. I also heard there is an alternative post near the alternator which I haven't looked to see and never heard of such a thing. A gmc dealer also just told me there is an under the hood fuse box. Later today after I am out of this tree I'll try to locate that.

Anyone use this fuse box and know which is power when the key is turned. ?

I ran a marine power block from the open post there and ran the ground through the amp ring so the truck knows all the power being used. Then run all new things from the power block. Think I have some pictures in my gallery.

Do the 2015's have two batteries stock? I haven't opened up the covers under my hood yet, but I see there are what look to be two covers that look like battery covers. One on passenger and one on driver side. Maybe one is just a fuse box, and I haven't dug in further yet, but saw two "boxes" with lids that looked like battery compartments.
