Grill options

Looking into a new grill for my 15' Silverado. Just want the inserts to be black. Is it a factory grill? Or something I can do to make the inserts black? I see it's all one piece.

Actually just noticed those inserts are seperate pieces. I was thinking it was an all one piece grill.

 

So who makes a good insert?

are you talking about the chevy emblem or the actual black grille on that truck?

 

if you are talking about the chevy emblem just use plasti dip to paint.

 

if your talking about the actual black grille (honeycomb part) then that is a stock grille and you could prob find a member on here selling one in the classified section.

I went with the Grillcraft black mesh inserts. Replaces the chrome honeycomb pieces completely, not a cover-up. Great quality and perfect fit.

Grill craft inserts you have are $220. Ouch! Was there any modifying required? It says there might be.

Like I said buy a full factory grille with the black inserts... pull yours and sell it.

That looks really nice. Do you have any better photos where the grill has more light hitting it? It's kind of hard to see the detail.

 

That's probably one of the only things regarding the body of my truck I may change. Those chrome honeycombs are a total pain to clean, and it's a lot of chrome for my tastes....that's what the LTZs come with though.

No modification for the LT grille.

 

That looks really nice. Do you have any better photos where the grill has more light hitting it? It's kind of hard to see the detail.
