I've had it about 3 weeks and it has easily become my favorite gun in my collection. I also found out that since Mec-Gar makes the mags, it is half the price to buy a normal Mec-Gar mag than one branded Sig. The gun has amazing balance and i find myself at an indoor range firing 200 rounds at least once a week.

Nice Chris.

I have a 239. Like it a lot, but haven't shot it much. Carried it on the AZ border near Nogales a few years now, while quail hunting with my 410. A 410 is not much of a defense gun if some druggie mules stumble into you.

Is a 239 a .380?

I have a couple of Sigs, 1911 Ultra compact and a P938. Both are solid quality guns, enough that I am going to get another one later this year. On the short list:

M11-A1

P224

P239

P320

P229

Looking for another gun that can rotate thru conceal carry duty, though as of now the M11-A1 is near the top of the list even with the weight penalty.

The 229 is an amazing gun. I love the soze, weight, and feel of it. Rarely use it as DA, the SA feels great. I put 250-300 rds through it every range trip where my 1911 will get usually no more than 100 ran through

Also since the 229 gained 9mm functionality the 228 or M11-A1 as it is known, is now the 229. The 229 has a heavier slide though.

Actually the M11-a1 is still a separate gun, the difference being that it has the Sig night sights, different trigger and alloy frame. I played with both this weekend at Cabelas and check them out on Sig's sight. As of now they are offering them as 2 separate models.

I was originally looking for a 228, mine has the night sights, just no short reset trigger. I guess the 228 isnt allowed in CA, but as of January ALL Colt pistols were taken off the list

Looks like Jeb Bush is a Sig owner-operator.

On the news they showed a used P220 45 acp he got as a gift. Looks like he's either a lefty or it's a ambidextrous model. Novak sights. Looks like an early model SAO (note the rear frame mounted safety).

Well looks like after talking to a LEO buddy of mine I have a line on a new M11-A1 at a stupid price I cant pass up, suggested MSRP is $1100, retail is around $1k and he hooked me up with one for $725. Looks like I may be picking up a new gun in the coming weeks.
