2015 Silverado Check Engine Light/Limp Mode

So, I am driving down the interstate last week and all the sudden "CLUNK!", check engine light comes on, and won't leave first gear it seems.. Limp mode. Gets towed to local dealer; and this is the end result: "they pull code P2720; Pressure Control Solenoid Low Voltage. Check resistance of solenoid and verified proper operation. Relearned shift procedure and road tested warm and cold ok." And that was that. As far as I am concerned; they cleared the code and have no idea why that happened. I am letting it go this time; but I am a little leery about my brand new truck. (12K on it).. I told the dealer if it happens again they are keeping the truck until something is fixed, it didn't just do that for no reason. Anyone else had this issue? Ideas?

Had a friend who had a 15 Sierra with a similar issue. They replaced the solenoid and several seals in the transmission. Seals were the initial failure and allowing excessive fluid to get by and it damaged the solenoid. Hasn't had another issue from it yet.
