Brian Robinson Posted January 25, 2018 Posted January 25, 2018 great info, i want to do this to my 14 sierra. you reference a passenger side fuse box in the "things you need", what is this for?
bkesting Posted January 31, 2018 Posted January 31, 2018 I love the rear slider. If you're driving on the highway with the side window(s) open, you sometimes get some weird air pressure issues in the cab. Open the rear slider lets the air move through the cab freely and gets ride of the noise and pressure issues.
Trevor Holm Posted August 12, 2019 Posted August 12, 2019 I’ve Got a 2018 Gmc and am on the second leaking sliding rear window. The first time when they were replacing it I asked if it could be done, and was told I couldn’t because it would set off the body controls module?? Can anyone confirm if removing the slider affected anything?? I have never used mine and like the look of the solid wonder better not to mention no leaks is a bonus.
Qmart49 Posted July 26, 2020 Posted July 26, 2020 i would like to thank mkwambold for his help replacing my solid glass rear window to a rear glass slider, his instructions & diagrams were just what i needed to complete the job without any issues. Thanks again.
