local shop who installs Zone lifts told me that my stock 20" wheels will not work???? I've seen a ton of guys running stock wills with this kit, I wonder why they are saying that?

Because they are misinformed.

I have a 6.5" Zone and I am running stock 20" wheels just fine with no spacers required.  Tell them to install the lift and put your wheels on.  Then look at them and say, "You're welcome."

It depends on what control arms you have

Please excuse the ugly wheels, it's my winter setup.

What are your fender measurements? I’ve got a 2.5” with 1.5” BL and wanting to go a little higher but the BL is screwing me if I put a 4.5” lift on, I’ll have 6” of lift on 33s..I’m not wanting to go bigger on tires just want a little more wheel well cap and maybe spacers for a better stance but with a lift the knuckle would push it out for the look im after..

It would definitely be nice to see some more tire lift combos with the 4.5” lift. Can’t decide what i want to do tire wise between a 33”, 35”, or getting a 285/65r20

i'm 42.5F / 41.5R , however i'm installing bilstein 5100s this week and setting them at 1.25" and also swapping out the 3" block for a 4" block so that should bring everything up about an inch

thanks man I appreciate it, I just wish I didn’t do the body lift because I think it would be too much with a 4.5” lift..I almost pulled the trigger on the 3.5” RC leveling kit with UCAs but too many bad reviews..I just can’t bring myself to do it..I’ve installed several lifts myself on my duramaxes and didn’t want to lift this one but I’m wanting as much height as I can run on 33s without it looking goofy..

If you go 10-12 wides 33s on a 6” would be fine

Yea I’m running 20x10s with 305/55 Mastercraft MXT..I’d think with a lift that pushes the front track width out and spacers on the back making the stance wider it might look pretty good..

I vote 4.5 inch.

I have the 4.5 in my truck and love it. Lots high. I am running 35x12.5x20s with no rubbing or trimming.

Here is a few pics to give you an idea.

Nice looking truck.  I know this is an old thread, wondering what kind of MPG you get now after the lift & bigger tires?  You have the 5.3L I assume...?

Thanks,

Scot
