Okay, so ive been looking into the zone 6.5" lift for my truck. I was dead set on going for the 6.5".

After going to my local shop for a quote on the kit + install, i went to my dealer and they happened to have a brand new 2015 silverado 1500 CC Z71 in tungsten metallic, with a dealer installed pro comp 6" lift and 35x12.5 tires. Pictures dont do these lifts justice! It sits a lot taller than i thought. The dealer didnt have steps on it (i have steps on mine) so now im wondering if i should go with the 4.5" kit.

I havent seen the 4.5 lift in person so im kind of limited here. After many hours of google searching and coming up with nothing, i figured i might benefit from starting a new thread.

What im looking for is pictures of the Zone lift kits in both 4.5" and 6.5" (side by side would be awesome but lets be realistic). Its hard to judge how tall these trucks sit in pictures. Honestly i have a hard time seeing a difference between level kits and 4.5" kits in pictures. If you have one of the Zone kits and have a picture next to a stock height truck, please post them, it would help me greatly!

For those with these kits, how do you like them so far? Any issues?

Heres the dealer lifted truck

And heres mine. RC 2" level kit

I had a 4" lift on my 2012 Denali and it was great. Now I have a 2014 Silverado with the BDS 6" and its awesome as well. Between the two I really do prefer the 6" lift as you can fit larger tires and it has a more aggressive look. My vote would be 6".

Here is a few pics to give you an idea.

XRM15.....I'm not into lifts on pickups, but I have to admit that your 4.5" lift looks nice.

It's kind of a happy medium between a standard Leveled truck and a 6" lifted truck, which look Mini Monster Truck-ish to me. Good choice!

Thank you!

Yeah I like to use my bed for hauling quads and sleds, so I hate a high truck as well. This lift is perfect especially with the 35's. Perfect proportion!

You also get 2" from the larger tires, so i may just go 4.5. Maybe its the angle of most pictures ive seen of the zone 4.5, but yours looks perfect! Some look like theyre not lifted but it may just be the angle.

I'm 6'2 and when I get in it, i have to do a little jump up into my truck. It def is taller than I thought it was going to be. But I couldn't be happier- I wouldn't change anything if I had to do it again.

And you saying it may be the angle. Those are all true pictures. Me just standing and taking the picture. No getting down on one knee and shooting up like a lot of people try and do to make their trucks look higher haha

I've been trying to decide between lifts also, looking at the Zone 4.5. I talked to someone from zone offroad the other day and he told me all the parts are the same for the 4.5 and 6.5 except the upper strut spacers in the front and the rear lift block which he said they will sell me if I decided 4.5 wasn't enough just throwing that out there.

What is your wheel offset? I just got Fuel Coupler 20x9 with +1 offset. Waiting to get tires until its lifted so i can get 34 or 35's

Running stock rims is the key!

Once you start changing offset with aftermarket wheels is when you get into rubbing and not being able to run bigger tires. I know a guy running a 3.5 inch lift with 35s on a 2015 and has very little rub at full lock.

i didn't think the stock wheels would fit with the different knuckles... guess im wrong lol

20 inch rim is fine.

I think 18's wont fit or smaller than 18. Can't remember exactly
