Having a hard time finding a straight answer regarding the Active noise cancelling on the 6.2. To the owners that have added a sub to their Bose system - did you need to disable the ANC ? or did you leave it alone? This doesn't apply to owners that have a 5.3

Any feedback would be great. About to get my sub/amp installed and want to know if this is something I need to be concerned with..

I wont know for sure until later next week when I actually start hooking my amps up. For now I have disable the rear microphone in preparation for the next phase of the install. If I have to disconnect the other two microphones remaining up front I will have no problems in doing so. The plug on the Bose amp that is on the far left is the microphone plug. It should have like 8 small diameter wires coming off it. I didn't want to mess with that because it's a hassle and I do want to keep the hands free mic active. I unplugged the mic at the base of it when I was apply Roadkill to the ceiling.

I do know that the ANC does not kick in until the vehicle is placed in drive. So make sure and drive and listen before saying it's good to go.

I will provide more feedback when I get to that point.

Hope that helps a little

If it is the GM/Kicker amp, I would think Kicker should have addressed this question. Have you called Kicker customer service to see what they have to say? Once installed, make sure to report back on how it sounds and if you feel like it was worth the investment.

It not the kicker set up. But I would interested to know if that does address this issue...

Try calling Monster Customs in Atlanta, GA. I follow them on facebook and have seen them work on a few of the new trucks and SUV's. I would think they have done at least one since 2014 with the 6.2L so they be able to help if you call as a perspective customer with questions to address.
