could just be an extra... they dropped it during assembly.. couldn't find it and installed another

Not a new problem for GM. Years ago, I reached under the seat of my mother's then new 1972 Buick Skylark and found an interior door handle. She freaked. Apparently thought I had ripped something off of her new car, but we figured out it was probably just one that had been dropped during assembly and forgotten.

  Roadmaster makes some quality parts; I have their sway bar. I considered the RAS, but I ended up bagging. I didn't know what kind of ride I'd get with RAS, and the bags have interior jounce bumpers, so I can run 0 pounds pressure. I figured I'd have the best of normal suspension ride with assist on-demand. But it seems you got pretty much the same in one item.

  They will fit with a spacer to clear but I know many people don't like that.

  with your further description, I'd be looking at all front end components. Control arm bushings can be deceiving. May look like fair condition but they're allowing play
