2015 Chevrolet Mylink update?

I recently got my 2015 Silverado in July and was wondering if you could update the mylink... Any input is greatly appreciated.

Only the Dealer can update it and only if there is an update.

How do you know when/if there is an update? Do you know if it costs anything to update?

Dealer has to run it for you..no charge if fixing an issue under warranty...fixes are applied...not like phones or other software where updates come out frequently...not "general" updates
