It's not a simple on/off . It is pulse width modulated. So no, probably not.

I almost want to try, but afraid of burning up the computer. Then the other side of me says well its the same computer and pin outs in the other trucks so it not receiving anything it wasnt designed to do. At most I think the computer may just not know what to do with the signal and ignore it.

I had to pull out the rubber pad the phone sits on and cut off the piece that goes into the hole and turn the whole pad upside down for it to charge my Galaxy S7 Edge. Works fine now.

I was wondering if my 16 would charge my 6 plus even though the whole phone doesn't sit flush in the charger.

Not likely.

My S7 will not charge when in the (extra) protective case that prevents it from sitting flat on the bottom of the mat.

Remove the extra case, it fits on the mat and charges. (It has to be pushed towards the back of the charge surface for it to 'connect').

I may just do away with the extra case.

Here's the wiring diagram from the upfitter manual. It looks as if the BCM wire turns the pad on and off as it senses a device on the pad, as well as turning on the charge indicator on the infotainment screen.

You could try just hooking up the + and - and see if it charges before you install it.

Violet/Yellow - 12volt

Black - Gnd

Green - BCM (looks like a switched signal)

console charger

This wireless charger has me stumped. Can anyone help?  I bought the new charger from a 2018. Installed it and got nothing. During trouble shooting I found green and purple/yellow wire cut by the console lid....repaired it and still nothing. I’m receiving over 13v on the green wire....not purple/ yellow wire. I even tried reversing purple and geeen wire on the truck and only received the lighting bolt on the radio but phone didn’t charge. When I did this the 13v dropped to 2v. I tried to hook the charger to a small 12v battery and it powered up and phone charged when power was applied to green and black wire. I read several post where this new charger worked plug and play but I wondering if pinout is different configuration on 2015 Yukon for some reason?

The grey plug is what plugs into the back of console. The white plug is what plugs in to charger (cut rib off to fit new style connector). As mentioned.... I have 13v on green wire but that is supposed to signal to turn on intelalink light.
