Ok say you've got 100 bucks burnning a hole in your wallet.

What is the best mod you can do for 100 bucks to......

A. Increase performance?

Or

B. Increase looks?

Increase looks. Put a speed grille on the front of your GMC, It would look sweet! Or go for a K&N Filter.

I like to spend my extra burning hole money on looks. the trucks already have a lot of horsepower from the factory.

Its hard to only spend $100 on performance.  Id say looks

I got my cold air intake system off E-bay for $65 shipped.  Let me tell you, it's worth 3x as much.  If you don't already have one then I'd look into it.  I got mine from Red Dog Motorsports.  They sell them from time to time.  Otherwise then I'd bank the money or enjoy a nice night out on the town.  Good Luck! :smash:

Hmm, only a $100.00

Performance= high pro muffler

      (Duramax, Magna Flo, Flowmaster)

K&N air filter, Bosch spark plugs, 8mm spark plug wire's, crankcase vent filter, 6 qts B&M trick shift trans fluid with new trans pan gasket, power pulleys, TBI spacers.

Looks 00

s.s. exhaust tips, Heat temp paint and engine enamel paint, tint for the rear window(maybe enough for the sides as well), Oh yeah Billet everything! antenna, 3rd brake lite, license plate frame, HID light bulbs.

This is just to mention a few ideas! Ha, I luv spending other folks bucks! :smash:

I have a question. how hard is it to install the air intake? Would i be able to still use my k&n filter? So you guys think this is a worthwhile investment, I am going to check out ebay.

What do you mean by air intake.  If mean something like the K&N FIPK, then it's really easy, and it comes with a new filter.  If you mean something like a new manifold, I have no idea....I am a shady mechanic not a real one, but I am sure someone else could shed some light on the difficulty of it.
