2016 LTZ/High Country headlights

On the LTZ models, does both the top and bottom LED strips light up for the DRL's or just the top strip? I know both strips come on at low power when headlights are on but not sure on the DRL's. Tnx

Pretty sure it's across the board the top strip only and both when parking lights/headlights are on.

 

It functions the exact same way the 14-15 GMC Sierra SLT and up headlights do. One strip on for DRL and both for park/headlight.

On the LTZ/HC both strips are on white, then the bottom one turns amber when the turn signals are activated, then goes back to white once they are canceled. See from 1:30 to 2:40 here:

 

 

 

Here is a video showing the LT/Custom/LS/WT lights (the video title is wrong -- it's not "LTZ 71" it's an "LT Z71"). He turns the lights on around the 4:00 mark:
