Led fogs..these any good

So I've been itching to work on the lighting. First up is the fogs. I haven't found but I'm curious what the lumen output is for a stock fog in a 15 Silverado. These are what I was looking at so far...yay..nay..any else. Looking to keep the price down..not looking for 100 dollar fogs that will be in the headlights

I have something similar to this in my truck currently and Its better than stock but im looking for better options.

I have something similar. JDM Allstars. Cheap clips and I can barely notice a difference when I turn them on.

check out nite-lux led . have them in low , high , fogs . works great

Yes i have looked at those and they look awesome. however for the Silverado you have to remove the bumper to make them work and from the pictures i saw on a GMC the light output wasn't all that great...

Do mean the light output is pretty Mich the same...no additional advantage minus the color. I just looked those up. They say they are 1200 lumens. I would think that would be over 2x brighter..

OK I just saw somewhere that the 5202 is 500 lumens and the xd are 720. Not a major upgrade. I have seen fogs saying 2000 lumens....wouldn't that be almost as bright as headlights and blind anyone.

I have the XD fog light bulbs. They are better than stock. Not a ton better but they are better and better color. They are hard to put in since they are in a tight space. best way is to take the entire lens out of the front and put them in that way.

Check out VLEDS. A lot of people on here say good things about them. I bought a random pair of LED fogs called New brights when i first bought the truck, one of them just burned out and I've only had them in 3 month. So i just ordered a set of the VLED's for my fogs. $60 for the set, super good price. They do have some more pricey options but the ones I've seen a lot of people ordering and saying the light output is great is the $60 pair.

I think these are the ones I have. They are bright and a definite improvement over stock for those of us that use the fog lights as driving lights.

They are brighter than stock but when I have my LED headlights on I do not see much difference when I turn the fogs on.

Did you get the fogs or l the headlights as well. I know led hl won't be as bright but brighter than stock and a nice color is my goal. I had done his in my 03 maxima years ago and it was just a bulb and ballast. Now I'm seeing on the hl I need the bulb, ballast canbus, canceller ect

Here is a pic of the fogs during the day. At least you can see the color. I have the headlights to match. It's a very good combination. Brighter than stock but not overly bright.
