Hello from NW Ohio. I just bought a new year end clearance 2015 GMC SLT Duramax. Love the truck

however, that being said I do have some pretty significant issues with it in my opinion so I searched for

a forum to discuss and get some other peoples opinions!

First off I am not impressed with the headlights on this truck that stickered for $66,000. Dims especially, they shine about the distance between telephone poles then abrubtly end with a line which is driving me nuts. This truck was built late in the model year. The brights are just ok but nothing I'd expect out of a high end truck.

Second issue is with the chrome quality of both front and rear bumpers. Looks good from a distance but up close the chrome is hazy and you can see what appears to be orange peel in the chrome. Not by any means up to my standards and I'm not extremely picky. I think if any normal person sent bumpers out to be chromed and they came back at this level of quality they would not except them.

I have owned the truck for about a month and just had a chance to detail it good is why I'm just now discovering

this issue. I have yet to discuss this with the dealer as I wanted to get some opinions to see if this is a common

problem or what my first plan of action should be.

Welcome, there is a 100 page thread about how bad the projector lights are on the 14 & 15 K2's. I had a '14 Sierra and liked it a lot but, the lights sucked.
